We Use Big Data to Uncover Hidden Alpha in Early Recovery Markets*
*A Recovery Market is a hospitality submarket showing signs of early recovery after intense analysis of key manifest and latent variables.
PEOPLE WANT TO TRAVEL.
PEOPLE NEED TO TRAVEL.
The human spirit desires to travel and “move about the cabin” if you will. Travel dates back to antiquity where wealthy Greeks and Romans would travel for leisure to their summer homes and villas in cities such as Pompeii and Baiae.
It’s no secret that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and cyclical shifts in the U.S. economy, there is a tremendous slow down in travel. However, due to these unprecedented circumstances, several distressed asset funds have formed in recent months to capitalize on the bid-ask spread in the current market.
To outperform the competition, Revelo’s focus extends far beyond identifying traditional investment opportunities. Instead, we add additional value by uncovering the long-term value of overlooked hospitality deals through the application of unconventional, data-driven methods.
We believe there are dozens of untapped markets that give us the opportunity to acquire distressed assets, add significant value, and increased bottom-line revenues through efficient operation strategies.
